Four new Catalogues coming soon......

With Four new catalogues coming out this week its a great time to come an visit us. Two of these catalogues Lynn's Rare Plants and Raithby Plants being new additions... as they say never seen before on the internet. On the front page on Tuesday 8th.

Another new addition is Golden Ray Liliums, a fantastic collection of Liliums, must be the largest in Australia, Asiatics, Orientals and more.


We also have a new Catalogue from Drewitts Bulbs and an update from Tesselaars. You can find them all at www.nurseriesonline.com.au

Two new catalogues

Liliums are a great and Golden Ray Gardens have a fantastic range. You can find them on our Liliums Page (New to www.nurseriesonline.com.au this week)

And from Raithby Plants, for the first time on the Internet a catalogue of interesting bulbs and perennials. Well worth a look, follow the link to the Raithby Plants Catalogue (Also New this week)

What new plants are we growing this year ... Some Epimediums Species Tulips, and some Fritillaria, we really like all of these . As well as a few smaller growing Banksia such as Banksia Spinulosa 'Coastal Cushion' . Also some fruit trees are going in Avocado 'Bacon' is one.....

New Catalogues. Hellebores from Post Office Farm. Bulbs from Tonkins Bulbs

This new 2010 catalogue lists over 40 different varieties of Helleborus, including several new introductions.

Autumn is a fantastic time to plant herbs. Hardy perennials such as Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, Chives, Sweet Marjoram, Horseradish and French Sorrel will establish healthy well developed root systems before the chill of winter sets in and provide plenty of clippings to complement those hearty winter dishes! A great little software package that provides a guide to selecting and using Australian Native Plants in the garden. If you are at all interested in Australian Native Plants either as a Landscaper, Landscape Architect or Home Gardener this is a great little application.

You will need to download a program called Abobe Air' to make it work, however the instructions are very simple.

New Bulb catalogues now online. PLUS Outdoor Lighting, Plant supports and Garden Arches

Now is a great time to order winter and spring flowering bulbs and we have THREE new catalogues now online. Many of these will be in limited supply, so if you are after the more unusual.... be quick.

Shirley and Jane have a great collection of hardy bulbs. The collection of sun loving bulbs from South Africa is well worth a look, and we love the Species Tulips, well worth a place in the garden.

Hillview Rare Plants
Marcus Harvey presents another outstanding catalogue with many hardy Crocus, Cyclamen, Iris and Fritillaria.

Drewitt's Bulbs
Tim has taken over the helm at Drewitt's, check out the Chilean Blue Crocus, the Daffodils and the Gladioli.

Rare and Unusual Plants

Tesselaars have released a new list of rare and unusual plants. We particularly like Arisaema consanguineum and Santolina Primrose Gem (Santolina romarinifolia). Arisaemas are wonderful plants for semis shade, fascinating flowers. Santolina copes well with full sun and is a really tough, drought tolerant plant.
